but the greatest of these is love."- 1 Corinthians 13:13

Today's focus: unique ways to show love through flowers. And being the flower-loving girl that I am, these photos totally make my insides blush. ;)
Give your Sweet some sweets by placing a handful of fresh
tulips in a small vase within a larger glass vase, then pour
in red-hots and BAM...candy & flowers all in one!

I made this toss bouquet a few years back for a Bride...
but who says you can't give hand-tied bouquets to your
Valentine (or to yourself? *wink*) ? The "Black Magic" roses give
off the allure of luxurious velvet & romance. Yum!
And similar to the red-hots, this little sweetie
would be perfect for a teacher, child, or of course...
your Valentine. You could even make miniature ones
in glass votives & use as place cards!

I saw this in Living years ago & I've always wanted
to try it out & haven't. Maybe this year? Just a couple bunches
of inexpensive carnations, 2 quilting hoops in varying sizes, some
ribbon & string and you're set! (or rather your table is!)

Well that's it for now! What, if any, flower combinations make your heart melt? (I might put in a good word for you) ;).

Gail

I love those Black Magic roses. Eli got me some once and they were gorgeous! Another really pretty dark rose is Black Baccara! It looks a lot like Black Magic.
I love your valentine ideas! How cute!
