{Home is Where There's LOVE}

A year goes by fast. So fast.

Seems like just yesterday we were packing up our little apartment to move to our first rental house.....

And
now we'll be packing up again....to move...

again.

You learn something new every place you live.....

Some things good.....some things hard.

In the apartment I learned simple {though hard at the time} things like how to cook dinner...

...how to make a budget...

...and how to be a wife.

And this year?

...I learned how to paint a room all by myself...

..how to be a better wife and a better cook....

...and how to let go of someone I loved.

But the thing I've learned the most of all....

...is that it doesn't matter so much where you live....what sofa you have to sit on..whether or not dinner tastes like it came from a gourmet kitchen...or what color your dining room is....

Because in the end....really.....

Home is where there's love.

And I'll carry that lesson with me...wherever we live.

xoxo,

Gail

Totally agree. It was and still is hard for me to let go of our apartment and the life we had there (never though I'd hear myself say that) but it was the place where we had so many of our best memories at. Your post was a good reminder that my home now -albeit in totaly disarray-is the home that is filled with the sound of my boys laughter(and cries:) and the love that fills it with them and all who come through the door. Thanks, Gaily.
Love ya!

Need any help moving? Packing?

So sweet and sad at the same time.
I remember moving out of the first home we shared as husband and wife.
It is so bittersweet.
I can't wait to see what you do with the new abode you will humbly dwell...
